Create a Discussion Board
Please follow the instructions below to create a discussion board.
- Navigate to the content area where your students will access the discussion board.
- Click on Tools and then select Discussion Board from the drop-down menu.
- Select Create New Forum, click on Next to proceed.
- Name your forum, and then add directions and expectations for your students into the Description field. Copy this text for future use.
- Make any adjustments to the forums settings and availability. For specifics, watch the video below.
- Click Submit.
- On the following page, click Next.
- Paste the text you saved (directions and expectations) into the text box on this screen.
- Click Submit. The discussion board is now located in your chosen content area.
